The Tw-Color table with a round top is an example of a thoughtful, modern design that harmoniously combines durability, functionality and aesthetic lightness. Designed by the Belgian Muller Van Severen studio for the Danish brand HAY, it is based on the contrast of forms and materials. The top made of Valchromat® dyed in the Green Mint shade - moisture -resistant, certified wood -based material has been covered with matte water varnish. A solid base made of powder -painted steel in ohraus ensures stability and adds a slightly industrial character. The round form of the table promotes interaction, and its uniform thickness and graphic silhouette catch the eye.
TRA-COLOR is part of the expanded collection of the brand HAY available in many sizes, shapes and expressive color combinations. The version with a round top is available in two diameters; 105 cm and 120 cm, which makes it an ideal choice for both private interiors and common spaces, such as offices or cafes.
Muller van Severen is a Belgian design studio founded in 2011 by the artists' duo - Fien Muller and Hannes van Severen. Their works are on the border between design, sculpture and applied art, distinguished by a minimalist form, expressive colors and unconventional Pode for material. They create furniture that combine functionality with an artistic expression, often combining steel, plywood, marble or dyed valchromat®. Their designs are present in collections of such brands as HAY, Valerie Objects or Kvadrat, as well as in galleries and design museums around the world. Aesthetics Muller van Severen is economical, but at the same time very expressive - each form has its place and meaning, and the color becomes a structural element.
