Tilde Grynnerup

Tilde Grynnerup is a Danish multidisciplinary artist, born in 1973, living and creating in Copenhagen. She graduated from textile design, specializing in embroidery. Her work includes various media, such as wood, textiles, photography, installations and conceptual works. He derives inspiration from experience in the fashion industry and family carpentry traditions, cooperating with his father in their joint workshop in the countryside. Grynnerup works are characterized by a combination of soft materials, such as textiles with hard as wood and brass, which reflects its pursuit of balance between nature and urban life. Her works often raise social issues such as feminism and equality, using humor and reflection to communicate deep emotions and thoughts. Grynnerup presented its works at numerous individual and group exhibitions in Europe and Asia gaining recognition in the world of contemporary art.
