Named after the Japanese word for light, this small portable lamp is a unique example of light-shaping design. As its designer Oki Sato says, "Tomoshi allows you to freely place, hang and move the light to another place, while at the same time evoking a sense of nostalgia and familiarity, bringing freshness to our everyday life."
The Tomoshi lamp emits soft, glare-free light. The replaceable LED light source is located in the lower part of the structure.

Please note that the Tomoshi lamp comes with a USB-C cable but no adapter. The product is compatible with standard USB adapters (min. 1.5 A).
Oki Sato, the founder of the NANDO studio is one of the most influential designers of modern design. Born in 1977 in Canada, educated in Tokyo combines Japanese sensitivity with global aesthetics in his work. He creates light, poetic and full of conceptual humor. Nendo designs for leading brands such as Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Flos, Cappellini, Kartell, Moroso, Boffi, Hermès and Lexus. Sato work includes furniture, lighting, architecture and artistic installations, often surprising with form and meaning. His projects are issued in MoMa, Center Pompidou and Design Museum in London. Oki Sato redefines contemporary minimalism, giving it a narrative and emotional dimension.
