The Loose-Cover Tearoom Chair is a modern take on Charles Rennie Mackintosh's classic Willow Chair - the inspiration behind the chair's design. Available in three neutral shades, the loose-fitting cover is made from Yarn Collective's soft yet durable Logan cotton-wool blend, which mimics the look of traditional wool bouclé, but with a smoother, more refined texture.
The cover is easy to clean without sacrificing elegance. The cover is also available separately.
The structure is made of high-quality plywood and polyurethane foam, which ensures durability and comfort of use.
Nick Ross is a Scottish-Swedish designer living in Stockholm, known for its minimalist forms inspired by cultural history and narrative. He graduated from industrial design at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, and then obtained a master's degree in the field of interior architecture and furniture design at Konstfack in Stockholm. In 2014, he founded his own design studio. His works such as the "White Lies" table or the "Last of the Free" collection explore the influence of fiction and history on the perception of objects. Ross has collaborated with reputable brands such as Audo Copenhagen and +Halle, creating projects combining crafts with modern design. His work was presented at international exhibitions, including in Milan and Berlin.
