The Penguin armchair is a modern wooden armchair for the living room, which combines the characteristic form of Danish design with the comfort of everyday relaxation. The compact design makes the Penguin armchair also work well in smaller interiors. The frame is made of solid oak wood, while the profiled backrest and seat are made of molded veneered plywood. The rounded backrest has been profiled to provide comfortable back support.

The Red Stained Oak version is distinguished by a red-stained oak structure, which highlights the wood grain and gives the armchair a distinctive character. The Penguin Audo Copenhagen armchair fits modern, minimalist and Scandinavian arrangements, as well as interiors inspired by mid-century modern style and Danish modernism.

Design

Ib Kofod-Larsen

IB Kofod-Larsen was a Danish architect and furniture designer known for its elegant, functional design that fits into the aesthetics of Scandinavian modernism. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, and was the greatest successes in the 1950s and 1960s. He created mainly from wood often combining teak with natural skin, which gave his projects a warm, luxurious character. His iconic armchairs, such as "Elizabeth Chair" or "Seal Chair", are characterized by soft lines, organic shapes and extraordinary comfort. He collaborated, among others with Faarup Møbelfabrik and Selig. Today, his furniture is valued as design icons and achieve high prices at auctions.

We offer delivery by courier, company transport or personal collection. Free delivery applies to orders over PLN 300.

2. How do I receive or change an invoice for an order?
