Using the timeless MSDS Studio material for the starting point, created a small table in a completely new, spectacular installment. The unconventional layout of a slightly eccentric furniture creates an interesting composition that strongly differs from its competitors. The base of the table is specially distinguished by the seemingly chaotically integrated elements. This is the intended goal of designers to somehow mock from classic leg systems in similar furniture. As a result, Stock manifests itself as a small, raw piece of steel sculpture, which will serve as a practical, stable auxiliary table.
The table is available in 4 colors; blue, white, black and wine.
MSDS Studio is a Canadian design studio based in Toronto, founded in 2011 by Jessica Nakanishi and Jonathan Sabine. He specializes in interior design, furniture and lighting, combining Japanese minimalism with Nordic simplicity. Their works are characterized by saving forms, functionality and a deep understanding of materials. The studio has gained recognition thanks to designs for brands such as Normann Copenhagen (Stock table, Hoop hanger), Woud (Annular lamp, Level Level) or +Halle (Boulevard bench system). MSDS Studio also cooperated with companies such as Umbra, Shopify and David Design. Their designs were presented at international fair, including in Stockholm, where as the first Canadian studio they presented their works at Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair in 2015.
