Snowball is a modern take on the classic Bauhaus-style lamp, showing how the futuristic and cubist styles of the interwar period can still function today. The lamp's metal shaft is anchored by a streamlined base composed of rectangular shapes that rises upwards to support the frosted glass shade. The lampshade rests on a disc-shaped plinth, balancing the sharp angles of the base with a perfect, round ball that emanates soft light.
The Snowball lamp is available as a table and floor lamp. Both versions have 4 colors to choose from; brass, black, white and steel.

Trond Svendgård is a Norwegian designer and chef, born in Rognan. As a co -founder of the brand Northern lighting (currently Northern) in 2005, he debuted as a designer with a snowball lamp - a minimalist project inspired by Bauhaus aesthetics, combining a steel base with inflatable glass. This lamp has become an icon of Scandinavian design and sold in over 25? 000 copies. In 2008, together with Ove Rogne, he created a MOO wall lamp in the shape of an elk head in a 1: 1 scale. Made of translucent polyester resin, this lamp emits soft light, combining humor with Norwegian symbolism.
