Trio Gatti, Paolini, Teodoro are Italian designers: Piero Gatti, Cesare Paolini and Franco Teodoro, known primarily as the creators of one of the most iconic furniture of the 20th century - Sacco chair (1968) for Zanotta. Their joint work was based on experimenting with form, material and a new concept of ergonomics. Sacco, known as "Armchair-Foze", initiated a new era of free, informal design by picking up with the classic Pode to the shape of the furniture. Designers were associated with the Radical Design current, which questioned the functionalism and aesthetics of modernism. Their innovative Pode Jat for design made them one of the most important representatives of the Italian design of the 1960s and 70s. Their works are included in the collections, including Moma in New York and Center Pompidou in Paris.
