Leonardo is a desk, or rather a drawing table, which is the archetype of trestle work tables. This modern project reflects the philosophy of its creator, according to which "design has always existed, and the best objects are those that are not signed by architects"... The essence of simplicity, the highest quality materials, perfection of workmanship and attention to detail.
The trestle is made of beech wood, the wood is varnished and steam treated. The tabletop is made of chipboard covered with white laminate (on request, the tabletop can be made of 12 mm thick tempered glass). Height adjustable in 5 positions.
Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, known for combining functionality with humor and innovation. He studied architecture in Milan and worked with his brothers for years, creating iconic projects for brands such as FLOS (Arco, Taccia, Toio), Zanotta (Mezzadro, Cumano) or Alessi (Dry). He was famous for the ability to transform everyday objects into the highest test design. His works are characterized by minimalism, ingenuity and a timeless form. Winner of many awards, including Nine Compasso d’Oro. His works are in museum collections around the world, including MoMA.
