Piero bot Ton and was one of the most outstanding Italian designers of the 20th century, whose work had a huge impact on the development of modern design. He was born in Milan in 1913, and began his education at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic in Milan. In the 1930s, in times of fascination with modernity and functionalism, bot Ton and began his professional career, which was aimed at combining art, technology and functionality. In the initial stage of his career, he designed in harmony with the ideas of modernism, drawing inspiration from geometric forms and functional but elegant solutions. As a furniture and interior designer, bot Ton and put a lot of emphasis on minimalism, cleanliness of lines and the use of new materials, which allowed the creation of both modern and timeless products. His work was a response to social demand during the post -war economic boom in Italy.
