Rm58 Armchair Matte Orange Vzor

The RM58 Classic model is an intricate reconstruction of the prototype of the chair by Roman Modzelewski. Today, this unique armchair produced by hand using the latest technologies decides not only home salons, but also various public spaces. In 1958 he was one of the earliest Polish examples of furniture made of polyester-glass laminate. What is extremely important, completely closed, the organic form of the seat did not have its counterpart at the time either in Poland or elsewhere.

RM58 Matte armchair is available in a historic color palette: red (RAL 3020), Black (RAL9005), White (RAL9003), Gray (RAL 7037), Orange (RAL 2009), Turquoise (RAL 5021), Olive-green (RAL 6020), Jasny Green (RAL 6018) 6037), purple (RAL 4006), yellow (RAL 1018), Anthracite (RAL 7016) and Beige (RAL 1001).

Roman Modzelewski

Roman Modzelewski (1912–1997) was a Polish furniture designer, a painter, a sculptor and a teacher. He was born in Łoźnych (currently Lithuania), studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, and after the war he co -founded and for many years he was the rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. As an artist, he experimented with form, color and material, creating innovative furniture designs that combined aesthetics with functionality. His best -known projects are RM56, RM57 and RM58 armchairs, which have become icons of Polish design. The RM58 armchair, made of polyester-glass laminate, was one of the first furniture of this type in Poland and gained recognition at international exhibitions. His works are in the collections of such institutions as Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the National Museum in Warsaw.
