Ready is a modern chair that is a combination of functional design and carefully selected materials. Designed by the duo Matias Møller & William Rantzau for the Danish brand Audo Copenhagen, it is a modern interpretation of the classic form of a chair from the 1950s. In this version, the chair is equipped with an upholstered seat covered with Hallingdal 65 0370 fabric. The frame is made of molded oak plywood, stained black.
Thanks to the possibility of stacking up to 10 pieces and timeless aesthetics, the Ready chair is perfect for both private interiors and public spaces such as restaurants, offices and galleries.
matias møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen is a Danish duo of designers, known for creating modern furniture combining functionality with a sophisticated aesthetics.
matias møllenbach He graduated from Central Saint Martins and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 2018, he founded his own studio in Copenhagen, where he cooperates with craftsmen, creating timeless objects with unique forms.
Nick Rasmussen He began his career as an architect, and then graduated from furniture design. Currently conducts Luddo Studios studio in Copenhagen, dealing with product design, architecture and art for customers around the world. Their common work is the "Ready Dining Chair" chair for the brand Audo Copenhagen. This project, inspired by classic Cantilever chairs, is characterized by a suspended seat and back, which gives it lightness and modern appearance. Møllenbach and Rasmussen are valued for the ability to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design, creating projects that are both aesthetic and functional.
