Ted Synnott

Ted Synottt is a New Zealand industrial designer, whose work combines sculptural aesthetics with functionality. Initially, he studied marketing, but the passion for craftsmanship prompted him to study carpentry at Center for Fine Woodworking in Nelson. In 2019, he founded his own studio in Auckland, where he creates projects based on a minimalist form, intuition and practicality enriched with soft curves and surprising details. His collections, such as OTAMA or Volume, are characterized by precise performance and thoughtful construction. The artist collaborated with reputable brands, including Audo Copenhagen. Synottt draws inspiration from daily observations and nature, creating timeless objects that combine traditional crafts with modern design.
