Pyramid 01 Table HAY is a functional, minimalist table with a unique design from the 1950s. Designed by Wim Rietveld, it combines a solid solid oak top (21 mm) with a light but stable frame made of a laser-cut steel profile (beige, powder-coated steel). Thanks to its compact dimensions (140×65 cm), it is perfect as a designer work desk, dining table or piece of furniture for a coworking space (optionally, the Pyramid 01 model is also available in a version with a wider 75 cm top). The timeless form and high-quality finish make it an ideal choice for Scandinavian, industrial and modern interiors.
Wim Rietveld was a Dutch industrial designer, known for its functional and economical designs of furniture and utility items. The son of the famous Gerrita Rietveld, also a designer, developed his own style, combining modern Pode Jest with practicality. He collaborated, among others with Gispen and Ahrend, creating light, modular metal and plywood furniture, ideal for offices and public spaces. His works were characterized by simplicity, ergonomics and the use of modern production technologies. Rietveld was also a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Hague, where he propagated the ideas of rational design. To this day, he is considered one of the pioneers of Dutch post -war design.
