Pyramid 01 Table HAY is a functional, minimalist table with a unique design from the 1950s. Designed by Wim Rietveld, combines a solid table top made of solid oak (21 mm) with a light but stable frame made of steel, laser -cut profile (beige, powdered steel). Thanks to the compact dimensions (140 × 65 cm), it is perfect as a designer work desk, dining room table or furniture for coworking space (optionally the Pyramid 01 model is also available in a version with a wider top 75 cm). The timeless form and high quality of the finish make it an ideal choice for interiors in the Scandinavian, industrial and modern style.
Wim Rietveld was a Dutch industrial designer, known for its functional and economical designs of furniture and utility items. The son of the famous Gerrita Rietveld, also a designer, developed his own style, combining modern Pode Jest with practicality. He collaborated, among others with Gispen and Ahrend, creating light, modular metal and plywood furniture, ideal for offices and public spaces. His works were characterized by simplicity, ergonomics and the use of modern production technologies. Rietveld was also a lecturer at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Hague, where he propagated the ideas of rational design. To this day, he is considered one of the pioneers of Dutch post -war design.
