Luciano Vistosi

Luciano Vistosi was an Italian designer and glass master, born in 1931 on the island of Murano - famous for its centuries -old glass tradition. Since his youth, he was associated with a family workshop, with time he became one of the most valued artists' artists in Italy. He experimented with form, light and color, creating unique sculptures and lamps with organic, liquid shapes. His works combine craft precision with modern aesthetics, often taking the form of abstract artistic objects. Vistosi gained international recognition, and his works were presented in galleries and museums around the world. Associated with the Vistosi brand, which he gave a new direction, remains an icon of the Italian design of the 20th century glass.
