The OK hanging lamp by Flos is modern lighting combining minimalist design with functionality. The lamp is characterized by an ultra-thin, 360° rotatable LED head using edge-lighting technology, which allows for even light dispersion. The head is attached to a rectangular body housing electronic components, which moves vertically along a 4,000 mm long steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor. The stability of the structure is ensured by a conical counterweight placed at the base.
The lamp is equipped with a built-in dimmer operated using Soft Touch technology, enabling smooth adjustment of brightness. It is powered by an adapter connected to a standard electrical socket (100-240V). The light source is an 18W LED module, emitting light with a color temperature of 2700K and a luminous flux of 1638 lumens.
Konstantin Grcic is one of the greatest contemporary German designers, known for its innovative Pode to form and functions. He was born in 1965 in Munich, and gained education at the Royal College of Art in London. In 1991 he founded his studio KGID - Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design. It creates furniture, lighting and utility products for brands such as Flos, Magis, Vitra, Muja and Classicon. His designs, such as the Chair_ONE chair or Mayday lamp, are known for industrial aesthetics and intellectual depth. Grcic combines technological precision with raw beauty, and his works are presented in design museums around the world, including Moma and Center Pompidou.
