Luminator Floor Lamp Light Blue Flos

Luminator is a modern floor lamp designed in 1954 by the legendary Italian designers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for the FLOS brand. The slender, three -legged design gives the lamp lightness and elegance, while the open form without a shade allows for direct, strong light directed upwards.

Achille Castiglioni

Achille Castiglioni (1918–2002) was one of the greatest Italian designers of the 20th century, known for combining functionality with humor and innovation. He studied architecture in Milan and worked with his brothers for years, creating iconic projects for brands such as FLOS (Arco, Taccia, Toio), Zanotta (Mezzadro, Cumano) or Alessi (Dry). He was famous for the ability to transform everyday objects into the highest test design. His works are characterized by minimalism, ingenuity and a timeless form. Winner of many awards, including Nine Compasso d’Oro. His works are in museum collections around the world, including MoMA.
