Flos 2097/50 is an iconic hanging lamp, designed in 1958 by Gino Sarfatti. Lamp frame made of steel bars with a chrome finish. The lamp's arms are slender and spread out around the central shaft.
Number of light points: 50 bulb sockets. Maximum bulb power: 15W per light point. Recommended light source: LED bulbs or decorative filament bulbs.
The 2097/30 pendant lamp by Flos is available in two versions of bulb finishes: Clear Bulbs (transparent) and Frosted Bulbs(dairy). They differ in light effect - transparent ones provide a more expressive, point light, while milky ones scatter it more subtly, creating a more delicate atmosphere.
Gino Sarfatti was an outstanding Italian lighting designer considered one of the most important pioneers of modern design in this field. In 1939 he founded the Arteluce brand, which introduced a modern design to Italian lighting design. The engineer by education, designed over 600 lamp models, combining technological precision with an elegant, timeless form. He experimented with new materials, such as aluminum or plexiglass, creating projects ahead of their times. His most famous work is the ceiling lamp 2097 - an icon of modern design. Sarfatti's works are in the collections of museums around the world.
