Stine Aas

Stine Aas is a Norwegian furniture and products designer, living and working in Bergen. She graduated from the design of space and furniture for Bergen Academy of Art and Design in 2015, after which she founded her own design studio. Her projects combine simplicity with character, derived from everyday interactions between people and objects. AAS creates objects that are both functional and aesthetically thought out, often using natural materials and subtle details. One of its most famous projects is the Oaki chair for the brand Northern, which combines Nordic craftsmanship with Japanese aesthetics. This chair was appreciated for its elegance and innovative Pode to traditional carpentry techniques.
