Jim Hannon-Tan is an Australian industrial designer born in 1975 in Santiago de Compostela in Spain. He grew up in Australia, drawing inspiration from various cultures. After graduating from Rmit University in Melbourne, he moved to Europe where for 15 years he collaborated with reputable studies such as Marcel Wanders, Tom Dixon and Stefano Giovannoni. His projects combine aesthetics with functionality, often exploring new technologies and materials. He collaborated with brands such as Alessi, magis, Moooi, Cappellini and Schneid er electric. After returning to Australia, he founded his own studio in Adelaide, focusing on projects related to advanced industry and technology. His works, such as the "Linea" collection for Made by Pen, have gained recognition for innovation and elegance.
