The Multi-Lite hanging lamp refers to the golden era of Danish design thanks to the characteristic shape of two opposing, external, movable lampshades. Thanks to their individual rotation, the lamp can be positioned in many ways, in which the light can be directed upwards, downwards or emanate light asymmetrically. The Multi-Lite hanging lamp has a timeless expression that suits any home interior.
The lamp is delivered with a cable and a ceiling lining (no bulb included). The attached arrangement photos show the Multi-Lite hanging lamp in various available sizes and colors.
Louis Weisdorf is a Danish designer and architect known for his innovative lamps from the 1960s and 1970s. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and his career included graphic, industrial and interior design. He collaborated with Tivoli Gardens and designers such as Verner PanTon and Poul Henningsen. His most famous designs are the Konkylie, Facet, Turbo and Multi-Lite lamps. His works, produced by Lyfa, have become icons of Danish design. Currently, Weisdorf lamps are offered by the Gubi brand. The designer remains one of the most respected creators in the history of Danish design.
