The name "Basket" refers to the classic hand-weaving technique used in rattan basketry. This modernist collection includes a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa and a lounge chair. They all have the same rattan structure and round, upholstered cushions.

The upholstered elements are finished with Lorkey outdoor fabric (Limonta 40) designed for modern terraces and swimming pool spaces. The soft, evenly textured frisé yarn is slightly fluffy, highly lightfast and easy to care for. The armchair is also available to order. Details in the customer service department.
Joe Colombo was an Italian designer who became famous for futuristic, innovative furniture and utility items. He studied painting and architecture in Milan, and began his career as an avant -garde artist. In the 1960s, he created iconic projects like an ELDA armchair, modular systems or Acrilica lamp. His furniture was often mobile, transforming, designed for the lifestyle of the future. Colombo believed in flexible, compact spaces and designed all "life systems". His aesthetics connected plastic, metal and new technologies. Today his heritage continues, among others Mark Gubi, which restored the design of the Basket chair from the 1960s, faithfully reflecting its original spirit. Despite his short life, Colombo left a lasting trace in the history of design.
