Kai is an Austrian designer known for creating elegant and functional furniture and everyday objects. He studied architecture in Vienna, and his works combine a precise form with high quality workmanship. He collaborated with many recognized brands, including Gubi, Bene, Ton, Rolf Benz or Walter Knoll. Characteristic for Stania is the minimalist Pode Jest, in which ergonomics meets with a sophisticated aesthetics. His designs, such as chairs, tables or lamps, are often distinguished by subtle dynamics of the line and a thoughtful detail. He received numerous awards, including Red Dot Award and IF Design Award.
