Designer; Christoffer Harlang
Christoffer Harlang is a Danish architect, designer and professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. It is known for its projects combining modernity with tradition, such as the center of visitors to Hammershus in Bornholm, which has won many international awards. As a designer, he collaborated with brands Skagerak, Louis Poulsen and randi, creating everyday objects with minimalist aesthetics. Harlang draws inspiration from anonymous craftsmanship and Danish modernism, continuing the traditions of such creators as Kaare Klint. His Pode Design is based on subtlety, harmony with the environment and respect for materials. In 2020 he received the Honorary Architek award Ton Nykredit for his contribution to Danish architecture.
