At first glance, the Lato table resembles a sculpture with a slim, round top balanced by an oval base. The striking, graphic and poetic purity of the form is proof that the simplicity of this design is refined. When creating the Lato tables, the designer wanted to keep things simple and create a timeless table that could easily be the center of attention in rooms arranged in different styles.
The LATO LN9 table is available in 5 color variants; Deep Green & Verde Alpi marble, Warm Black & Emparador marble, Ivory White & Crema Diva marble, Lacquered Walnut w. Emparador marble and Lacquered Oak w. Crema Diva marble.
Luca Nichetto is an Italian designer born in 1976 in Venice, raised on the island of Murano, famous for its glass tradition. He studied industrial design at the University of IUAV in Venice. He began his career by designing glass for Salviati and lighting for Foscarini. In 2006 he founded his own studio in Venice, and in 2011 the second in Stockholm. The artist combines an Italian expressive style with Nordic minimalism, creating furniture, lighting and interior designs. He collaborated with brands such as Cassina, & Tradition, de la Espada, Fritz Hansen or Hermès. His designs are functional, but characterized by emotion and story. He often acts as an artistic director and juror in design competitions.
