Nathan Yong

Nathan Yong is a recognized Singapore designer who has gained international recognition thanks to his Emu minimalist Emu Pode to the design. He graduated in the field of industrial design at Temasek Polytechnic, and then won the Master's degree at the University of New South Wales. In 1999 he founded the Air Division brand, and in 2006 opened his own studio - Nathan Yong Design. His works combine functionality with aesthetics inspired by nature and Asian craft. He collaborated with brands such as Ligne Roset, Herman Miller and Moma. In 2008 he received the prestigious Singapore President’s Design Award: Designer of the Year. His projects were presented at international exhibitions, including in Milan, London and Cologne.
