Bernt Santesson is a Danish designer from Aalborg, in the north of Jutland. A lithograph and graphic designer by education, he worked in advertising agencies in various Danish cities for years, including in Aalborg, Herning and Copenhagen. He currently runs his own Santesson Graphic Design Studio design studio. His work is characterized by simplicity, harmony and attention to detail - typical of Scandinavian design. Santesson combines functionality with elegance and natural materials, creating timeless designs. The greatest recognition was brought to him by a series of Drachmann garden furniture, designed for the brand Skagerak, inspired by a coastal climate and Danish craft heritage.
