The wood used in the production of the Georg table is FSC certified Which means that it meets the set standards for responsible forest management in terms of social, ecological and economic aspects. In the case of products with the FSC logo, we can be sure that they are made from raw materials from responsible sources.
Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm is a Danish-Swedish furniture designer and textile artist, known for minimalist forms inspired by everyday life and nature. She graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and previously studied in Stockholm and Berlin. In 2007, she founded her own studio, designing for brands such as Skagerak, Fritz Hansen and design within reach. Her works like the Georg series for Skagerak combine functionality with subtle aesthetics, using natural materials such as wood, wool and leather. Since 2019, he has focused on textile art, creating embroidery presented, among others at Francis Gallery, Great Britain and the USA.
