an Ton Io Aricò is an Italian designer born in 1983 in Reggio Calabria, whose work combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design. After graduating from the Milan University of Technology and science in Scotland, Australia and Spain, in 2011 he founded his own studio in Milan. His works, such as the "Back Home" collection, created with his grandfather, combine emotions, nostalgia and local traditions. He collaborated with the brands Alessi, Seletti, Barilla and Bialetti, for which he was an artistic director. Aricò projects, inspired by the culture of Calabria, were presented at exhibitions in Milan, Tel Aviv and Melbourne. His Pode Jest to design is based on an emotional message, combining the past with the present in unique forms.
