Product description

Dapper chair HAY Yuma 1010 is a modern and comfortable Lounge Chair proposal designed by the Doshi Levien duo. A unique design was created for users of educational institutions, offering a wide support for maximum back and elbow support - ideal for working with a laptop. The seat is made of formed veneered oak plywood, and the whole is supported on a steel base in a black, powder finish. The Raas 662 upholstery has a clear, granular weave and a light melange effect.

Doshi Levien

Doshi Levien is a recognized design studio from London, founded in 2000 by the Nipa of Doshi and Jonathan Levien. Their works combine expressive aesthetics inspired by India culture with European craft precision. The Nipa, from India, brings a sense of color and narrative to the projects, and Jonathan - technical sophistication and experience in carpentry. They jointly create objects that combine craftsmanship, technology and applied art. The studio cooperated with such brands as HAY, Moroso, Kvadrat, B&B Italia, Cappellini or Swarovski. Their most recognizable projects are the quil sofa Ton, chair uchiwa or collections of textiles and lamps. The works of Doshi Levien are in the MOMA and Cooper Hewitt collections, and the duo has won numerous international awards.
