The chair from the Fala collection is a modern look at the classic heritage of bent wood. The simple design of the chair balances geometric transparency with gently curved lines and surfaces. The typical shape of the rear legs made of bent wood is a key, common feature of the wave family while different versions of the backrest/armrest give each Emu element of an individual character.

Oleg Pugachev is a Russian designer born in 1986 who has been living in Berlin for years. He graduated from product design at the Weissense Academy of Art Berlin in 2013. After gaining experience at international design offices, in 2015 he founded his own studio, focusing on furniture and lighting design. His Pode combines functionality, technology and aesthetics, and intuition plays a key role in the creative process. He collaborated with brands such as Ligne Roset, Woud, Infiniti and Fameg.
