Product description

Ant ™ is a modern dining room chair from the Danish brand catalog Fritz hansen. The visual expression of this light chair is delicate and subtle like the crooked musical instrument. The chair seat was made of nine layers of pressure -formed veneer, while a three -legged base made of varnished steel.

Designer; Arne Jacobsen

This contemporary chair has been inspired by simple, agricultural stools created to stand probably on uneven floors in Danish houses. It is a great example of understanding by the designer an integral combination of raw materials strength, i.e. strong wooden plywood and tubular steel.
