Capis a functional table lamp with an adjustable shade. The design is fun, but by no means lacking in personality. The lamp consists of a mixture of geometric shapes. The inclined bar supporting the socket and cover makes the whole thing look very light. The lamp is entirely made of varnished steel. The rotation function allows you to direct the light beam to a specific place. Thanks to tEmu, the Cap table lamp can be used as a reading lamp as well as for creating a cozy lighting atmosphere in the room.
Jonas Wagell is a Swedish architect and designer known for minimalist forms with soft, friendly lines. He founded the JWDA studio in Stockholm in 2008, which cooperates with brands such as Audo Copenhagen, Wendelbo, Tacchini or Normann Copenhagen. His designs such as the julep sofa or the JWDA lamp combine simplicity with a distinct character, reflecting his Pode Jest referred to as "generous minimalism." Wagell studied graphics, interior architecture and furniture design in Konstfack in Stockholm and Parsons School of Design in New York. In 2008 he was awarded by the Wallpaper magazine* as one of the "50 hottest young architects of the world". Today, his works are valued for timeless aesthetics, functionality and subtle, Scandinavian style.
