Ole Jensen

Ole Jensen is a Danish ceramics and designer, born in 1958 in ejsing. He graduated from the School of Arts and Crafts in Kolding and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. His work combines functionality with humor, creating objects of everyday use of a sculptural character. Jensen cooperated with brands such as Normann Copenhagen, for which he designed, among others Familia collection and a set of scoops and mushrooms. His works were presented in museums around the world, including in Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Danmark Designmuseum in Copenhagen. He received numerous awards for his achievements, including Thorvald Bindesbøll, the medal in 2004 and Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize in 2006.
