Boule brand PULPO is a unique design of the lamp joint work of Sebastian Herkner and the brand Rosendahl. The lamp consists of a double lampshade made of inflatable glass and a porcelain base. E27 LED is powered (bulb included in the set). Due to manual execution, each copy of the lamp is unique. Bubbles or streaks as well as small color differences and size are characteristic of inflatable glass and this is not a product defect.
Lamp Boule owes its name and appearance a popular game in France known in Poland as a petanka or plays in boules. The model is available in the form of a table lamp and the presented floor lamp in several color variants.
Sebastian Herkner is a German designer whose style combines craft, tradition and modern technologies. He graduated from the Offenbach of the University of Art and Design, and in 2006 he founded his own studio. It creates furniture, lighting and everyday items for recognized brands such as & tradition, PULPO or Fritz Hansen. His designs are characterized by a soft form, a sense of color and respect for materials - from glass to ceramics and wood. Herkner values cooperation with craftsmen and is often inspired by cultures from outside Europe. In 2019, he was recognized by the "Designer of the Year" by Maison & Objet
