Philippe Malouin

Philippe Malouin is a Canadian designer living in London, known for his experimental Pode to form and material. He graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven and studied at École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris and at the University of Montreal. In 2008 he founded his own studio, which deals with the design of furniture, rugs, lighting, installation and space. Malouin is famous for brave, often surprising solutions, his projects combine sculptural expression with functionality and minimalism. He collaborated with such brands as Kvadrat, SCP, Resident, Matter Made or Hem, and his works were presented at prestigious exhibitions, including at Design Miami i Salone Del Mobile in Milan.
