Matteo Cibic

Matteo Cibic is an Italian designer known for combining design, art and craftsmanship in a surreal, often humorous way. He was born in 1983 in Vicenza and collaborated with many international brands, such as Benet Ton, Scarlet Splendour or Vitra. His designs, including furniture, ceramics, glass and artistic objects, are characterized by anthropomorphic form, bold colors and fancy details. CIBIC often gives objects personality, which makes them exceed the boundaries. He is a laureate of numerous awards, including Elle Deco International Design Award. His studio in Milan is a space of experiments, where he combines new technologies with traditional craftsmanship, creating objects on the border of design and conceptual art.
