Inspiration for the ACORN lamp design Umage (formerly Vita Copenhagen) There was nature, and being a more precise shape of acorns. The glass lampshade has been finished with a silicone lid in black on the outside and an aluminum-coat finish inside. The visible light source triggers the clear at the same time very atmospheric light, creating a pleasant aura around.
The lamp looks great solo, but even better in the group, e.g. Above the table or kitchen island.
The Acron series has several models. The lamp is intended for independent but simple folding. It is delivered without a suspension that can be purchased in our store separately.
Jacob Rudbeck is a Danish designer, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2003. His works combine functionality with aesthetics, inspiring the tradition of Scandinavian design. Rudbeck cooperated with reputable brands, such as Umage and Normann Copenhagen, creating lighting projects that have gained recognition on the international market. For Umage he designed, among others "Acorn", "Hazel" and "Cassini" lamps, which are characterized by organic shapes and minimalist style. The "Hazel" lamp is inspired by the shape of hazelnuts, combining dynamic lines with solid materials, such as brushed steel and brass, and a built -in LED panel with a soft diffuser ensuring pleasant light.
