The Tivoli chair is a contemporary interpretation of mid-20th century Scandinavian design. It is characterized by a unique, curved backrest made of wooden spindles, which give it not only a unique character, but also solidity.
Made of solid ash wood, with a profiled seat made of bent plywood, Tivoli combines elegance with functionality. Its simplicity and classic lines make it fit perfectly in both modern and traditional interiors. Thanks to the stackability, it is a practical choice for commercial spaces such as cafes or restaurants, but it will also work well in a home dining room, adding warmth and coziness.

Mikko Laakkonen is a Finnish designer born in 1974 in Espoo. Initially, he was educated as a lutnik, and then studied furniture design at Kymemenlaakso Polytechnic and at the University of Art and Design at Helsinki. In 2004, he founded his own studio in Helsinki, focusing on the design of everyday products. His works combine functionality with minimalism and were presented at many international exhibitions, including in Milan, Helsinki and Tokyo. Laakkonen collaborated with reputable brands such as Marimekko, Inno, isko, Martel, Bos, Casamania, Covo and Offecct. He is a laureate of numerous awards, including Red Dot Design Award (2012), Good Design Award (2010) and the title of Young Designer of the Year (2009). Its best known project is the Latva hanger, reminiscent of a tree that can perform both a usable and decorative function.
