Sett is a series inspired by refined jewelry techniques, in which precious gemstones are inlaid and then very precisely "embedded" in the frame. These modern tables, designed by Luca Nichetto, show the timeless beauty of marble and glass, while referring to the influence of Scandinavian functionalism with an Italian accent.
The Sett table is available in 3 sizes; 40x40 cm, 140x60 cm and 100x100 cm. Each table has a chrome base (depending on the model, the top is available in smoked glass as well as green or white marble).
Luca Nichetto is an Italian designer born in 1976 in Venice, raised on the island of Murano, famous for its glass tradition. He studied industrial design at the University of IUAV in Venice. He began his career by designing glass for Salviati and lighting for Foscarini. In 2006 he founded his own studio in Venice, and in 2011 the second in Stockholm. The artist combines an Italian expressive style with Nordic minimalism, creating furniture, lighting and interior designs. He collaborated with brands such as Cassina, & Tradition, de la Espada, Fritz Hansen or Hermès. His designs are functional, but characterized by emotion and story. He often acts as an artistic director and juror in design competitions.
