To add an extra layer of comfort to the RFH RD4 garden chair, a precisely fitting cushion has been developed in two variants: Heritage Papyrus - a neutral, beige fabric and Heritage Char - a bolder, dark fabric. The fabric is made of 50% recycled materials and is resistant to weather conditions, pilling and abrasion.
Robin Day was one of the most important British furniture designers of the 20th century. He became famous for the creation of functional, modern forms of democratic character, available to a wide audience. Working with Hille, he created iconic projects, including Hillestak chair and furniture for the Royal Festival Hall in London. In 2024, Danish Mark & Tradition restored to the production of selected Daya projects, creating Days and RFH collections, showing the timelessness of his design. Daya aesthetics combined innovative technologies, such as bent plywood, with a simple, logical construction. His works remain icons of modernism, and thanks to cooperation with & tradition they go to the new generation of users.
