The result of research into the possibilities of pressing techniques, the Ready chair draws inspiration from classic free-swing chair designs, whose cantilevered seat and backrest give the impression of being suspended in the air. matias møllenbach and Nick Rasmussen is a Danish duo of designers, known for creating modern furniture combining functionality with a sophisticated aesthetics.
matias møllenbach He graduated from Central Saint Martins and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. In 2018, he founded his own studio in Copenhagen, where he cooperates with craftsmen, creating timeless objects with unique forms.
Nick Rasmussen He began his career as an architect, and then graduated from furniture design. Currently conducts Luddo Studios studio in Copenhagen, dealing with product design, architecture and art for customers around the world. Their common work is the "Ready Dining Chair" chair for the brand Audo Copenhagen. This project, inspired by classic Cantilever chairs, is characterized by a suspended seat and back, which gives it lightness and modern appearance. Møllenbach and Rasmussen are valued for the ability to combine traditional craftsmanship with modern design, creating projects that are both aesthetic and functional.
