Meike Harde is a German designer specializing in furniture and lighting, known for its innovative Pode to materials and forms. After graduating from product design at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in 2011, she founded her own studio in Cologne in 2013. Her works are characterized by visual lightness and intelligent constructions, often using textiles in an innovative way. Harde cooperated with reputable brands, such as Vibia, Woud, Bolia, prostory and PULPO. Her Pode combines experiments with materials with precise craftsmanship, which brought her numerous awards, including nominations for the German Design Award. Thanks to the unique Emu style and innovative solutions, Meike Harde has gained recognition on the international design stage.
