The Multi-Lite table lamp refers to the golden era of Danish design thanks to the characteristic shape of two opposing, external, movable lampshades. Thanks to their individual Emu rotation, the Multi-Lite lamp can be positioned in many ways, in which the light can be directed upwards, downwards or emanate light asymmetrically.
Design: Louis Weisdorf
Louis Weisdorf is a Danish designer and architect known for innovative lamps from the 1960s and 70s. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, and his career included graphic, industrial and interior design. He collaborated with Tivoli Gardens and designers such as Verner Pan Ton and poul Henningsen. His best-known projects are concylies, guy, turbo and multi-life lamps. Weisdorf was a pioneer in creating lamps from modular elements, which enabled various configurations and controlling the direction of light. His works produced by Lyfa have become icons of Danish design. Currently, Weisdorf lamps are in the brand's offer Gubi. The designer remains one of the most valued artists in the history of Danish design.
