Move™ Compact by the Norwegian brand Varier is a lighter, more compact version of the iconic Move™ chair - perfect for working at a desk, at home or in the office. Thanks to a smaller seat and base and a height range from 49 to 68 cm, this model is perfect for standard tables and desks, including adjustable ones. Two gas actuators to choose from: Standard (for people over 53 kg) and Light (for users 35-53 kg).
Move™ Compact offers a comfortable foam seat, available in a wide range of fabrics and colors. The base is made of veneered beech wood and finished with natural or black ash veneer. The integrated rubber foot ensures stability on any floor.
per øie is a Norwegian designer who became famous thanks to innovative Emu Pode to ergonomics and movement in everyday life. His most famous work is Move ™ - an iconic balancing chair, which has been revolutionizing the way of sitting for years. Øie by profession was an engineer, and his work always combined functionality with a deep understanding of human anatomy. In design, he focused on activity, freedom and naturalness of movement - he believed that the furniture should not limit, but support the body. Move ™, designed in the 1980s, still remains one of the most important symbols of Norwegian utility design. Minimalism of form and maximalism of function - is the essence of his philosophy. Working with the brand Varier, øie contributed to the creation of a new category of products: active seats that change Pode to everyday comfort and health.
