Mingei is a series of 3 organic vases with rounded shapes inspired by Japanese folk art from the 1920s. Handcrafted from sand stoneware, clear glass or opal glass, these unique accessories exude Scandinavian minimalism and sensual tactility.
Denis Guidone is an Italian designer and architect based in Milan and Tokyo, known for combining the aesthetics of East and West in his projects. His works are characterized by a balance between rationality and irrationality, creating functional and poetic objects. He collaborated with reputable brands such as Bolia, for which he designed, among others "Maiko" and "Kire" lamps, inspired by Japanese aesthetics and made of inflatable glass. Guidone has gained international recognition by receiving awards, such as Ida Design Award in Los Angeles and Bruno Munari Prize at the Di Milano triennale. In 2018, he was appointed Ambassador of the Italian design by the Di Milano trial and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy. His projects are presented at international exhibitions and available in design galleries around the world.
