Bønnelycke is driven by the unbridled need for constructive and innovative work. He started his career in 1988 by designing lamps and furniture. He quickly became known as an unconventional architect without whims and fancies. “It might be fun” and “of course you can do it” are phrases often used in his company.
Bonnelycke MDD is a Danish design studio founded in 1988 by Henrik Bønnelycke - an architect and multidisciplinary designer, known for uncompromising Pode to function and aesthetics. The studio has gained international recognition thanks to projects on the border of architecture, industrial design and graphics. The work of Bønnelycke MDD is characterized by simplicity, precision and Scandinavian minimalism. Their portfolio includes lighting, furniture and accessories for brands such as Frama, Louis Poulsen or Nordlux. The projects are functional, durable and aesthetic - created for daily use and harmony in space.
