Material is a minimalist table lamp from the catalog of the Danish brand New Works. These simple fixtures come in a variety of materials; from marble, through cork, to glass and aluminum. The Material collection embodies the New Works brand's philosophy of minimalism and quiet tactile sensitivity. The floor version of the Material lamp has a rotatable head providing additional functionality.

nørgaard & kec HAY AS is a duo of designers operating in Denmark, created by Jonas Herman Nørgaard and Nicklas Kec HAY asa. Their studio specializes in furniture and lighting design, combining Scandinavian minimalism with modern functionality and experimental ({168}} to form. Artists are inspired by both industry and craftsmanship, and their designs are characterized by expressive but balanced. They work with recognized brands such as & tradition, New Works or woud. For & Tradition, they created, among others Lamps from the Manhattan series - elegant, mobile lighting inspired by Art Déco and the silhouette of classic skyscrapers. Nørgaard & kec HAY as they strive to create objects that are both practical and emotionally engaging. Their works show that modern design can be both useful and full of personality.
