Pietro Chiesa was an outstanding Italian designer and one of the most important creators of the 20th century in the field of glass and furniture. Initially, he ran his own artistic studio, and in 1932 he joined Gio Pontie and became the artistic director of Fontana Arte, where he created one of the most iconic brand projects. His style combined classic elegance with modern Pode to the material - he treated the glass not only as a functional element, but above all as a carrier of light and aesthetics. Among his most famous projects are the luminator lamp (1933) or the fontana table (1932), which are still considered to be examples of timeless Italian design.
